The Chair of Physical Training, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense was formed on October, 2012 on the basis of reorganization of the Chairs of Physical training, First Aid and Civil Defense. Acting Head of the Chair is Simon Hakobyan.
Short history of those two Chairs:
Chair of Physical Training of ASUE was established in 1975.
Specialty: Physical Training
Also there are several sections, like table tennis, basketball, volleyball, football, arm-wrestling, chess, handball, athletics, etc. Students have succeeded in city and republican competitions. Especially chess players, players of table tennis, football and volleyball players have succeeded.
Researches
Issues of strengthening of effectiveness of Physical Training in the University,
Norms of Sport, Moral and Fair game among the youth.
One educational manual, five scientific reports and four articles have been published by the Chair during last three years.
The Chair of Civil Defense and First Aid was established in 1975.
Specialties: First Aid During Emergency Situations, Issues of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense. Recently the Faculty of the Chair has published the following manual: “Issues of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense”. Methodological works for previous 3 years -10.
