Chair of Commerce of ASUE was established in 1964 inYerevanStateUniversityand was called Chair of Trade Economics. The latter was moved to Yerevan Institute of National Economy in 1975 and in 1995 the Chair was renamed Economics and Management of Trade and Public Food. In 2002 it was renamed Chair of Commerce (Trade).
