UNESCO Chair on Education Management was established on October 18, 2005 on the basis of agreement signed between Paris Headquarter, National Institute of Education of Ministry of Education and Science of theRepublicofArmenia.
In 2009-2010 academic years on the basis of cooperation agreement signed between National Institute of Education of Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia and Armenian State University of Economics UNESCO Chair on Education Management started its activities.
Cooperation
With Open Society Institute of Assistance Foundation ofArmenia; drafting program of course “Philosophy of Education” was implemented.
With UNICEF, drafting of course “Methodological Elaboration of Quantitative Survey of Education”
In the frames of international cooperation and TEMPUS program there are agreements of joint projects with several European Universities (Bologna(Italy),KielandKoblenzand Landau (Germany), Middlesex (England) and the priority is education management.
The Faculty of the Chair has participated in several international conferences devoted to educational issues.
