Chair of Labor Economics of ASUE was established in 1975 on the basis of Department of Economics, Chair of Labor Economics and Scientific Arrangement (established in 1973) of Yerevan State University.

The course of Labor Economics is carried for all students of 2nd to 4th years in all Departments.
Chair of Labor Economics of ASUE has been in close cooperation with Rostov State University of Economics since 2008.
Manuals
Within previous years the Faculty of the Chair has published methodological manuals, monographs, textbooks in Armenian and Russian.
Scientific works
Following researches were carried by the Faculty founded by the State budget of therepublicofArmenia:
2002-2004: “Current Issues of Formation of Market Economy in theRepublicofArmenia”
2005-2007: “Ways of Improvement of Labor and Wage Payment in Air and Vehicle Transportation”
2008-2010: “Improvement of Wage Payment Organization in Bank System of theRepublicofArmenia”.
About 25 scientific works are annually published by the Faculty of the Chair.
