Chair of Mathematical Methods in Economics of ASUE was established in 1975.

 The best students of the Chair occupy responsible positions in different ministries, departments, State governing bodies. Three graduates of the Chair have been ministers of Finance, among them- current Minister of Economy of theRepublicofArmenia, and the fist President of Control Chamber was A. TAVADYAN.

Teaching of the subject is implemented for students of 1^st to 4^th year of all Departments.

Chair of Mathematical Methods in Economics of ASUE cooperates withInstituteofMathematical Methodsin Economy of Academy of Sciences ofRussian Federation.

 Specialties: Mathematical Methods and Survey of Operations in Economics.

Manuals published by the Chair

Within previous years the Faculty of the Chair has published educational-methodological manual “Methodological Guidelines and Tests” for Mathematical Methods and Modeling in Economics subject. Manual “Mathematical Methods and Modeling in Economics” is under preparation.

Scientific Research works

One of the main achievements of the Chair is dependence of 10 thesis’.

About 12 scientific works are published by the Faculty of the Chair annually.

Following scientific-research works are carried in the Chair: “On application of Mathematical Methods in Economics and concrete Modeling in theRepublicofArmenia”.  Monograph “Intervals of Uncertainty of Economics” («Интервалы неопределенности экономики») in Russian is ready to be published by A. TAVADYA, Head of the Chair.
