With is current name the Chair was established in 1981 as a result of joining of chairs of Accountancy and Analysis of Economic Activity.

Teaching of subjects is organized for all students of 1st to 4th years if all departments of the University. Chair of Financial Accounting of ASUE is in close cooperation with Economics Universities of CIS.
Manuals
Within recent years the Faculty of the Chair has published manuals “Accounting”, “Collection of Problems and tests of Accounting”, “Collection of problems of Accounting” “Financial Lease” (monographs), “Issues of Analysis of substantial resources and effiency of the usage” (monograph).
Researches
Main directions of research works are modern issues of development of presentation of financial reports and accounting in the frames of international standards of accountancy and way of solutions. Annually about thirty scientific works are published by the Faculty.
